RNLI Gig rescue
Here are a few shots and footage from Sunday’s joint exercise with the RNLI and Salcombe Estuary Rowing Club.
A gig (which holds six rowers and one cox) was simulated to have capsized and the crew and cox were then rescued and the gig towed to shore.
The exercise took place of customs quay in Salcombe in beautul November sunshine.
