DIFFERENT EXAMPLES OF HOW WE CAN USE VIDEO to GROW BUSINESS.
Below is a selection of some of our favourite videos we have made for brands locally and internationally. What makes a video a video and a film a film? These days due to advances in camera technology they are pretty much the same thing, but to me a film becomes a film when it’s clear how much work has gone into the cinematography, the edit, the colour correction, and the level of emotion transferred to the viewer.

Sheen Falls, Kenmare
A fantastic Relais Chateau hotel in West Ireland. One of the most enjoyable shoots I had the pleasure of being commissioned for.
COUNTRYPAD, WALES
The very first film I shot for a property location (in 2013) - when sliders were magical things and gimbals and drones still didn’t exist. This was a superb property run by a lovely family, amidst the most stunning background of Hay Bluff.
KABI TRAVELS, SPAIN
Having earlier made a film for Edurne Pasaban to sell her incredible Ski Touring business in the Val D’Aran, we struck up a close friendship and she asked me to come and film her summer operation which took clients on walking tours in the Basque country. What followed was us all falling in love with the Spain, my cousin (who was DP) particularly so, he never came back and is now married with a baby and living out there!
Fowey Hall, Cornwall
This is the first hotel we shot in the series for Luxury Family Hotels and probably our favourite. These were some of the very first marketing films seen on hotel websites and proved that you can say more in 2 minutes on a video than any amount of marketing blurb.
Riad Kheirredine
This was a wonderful experience filming out in Morocco. I was commissioned by UP Hotel Agency (top bunch of people) to make a series of videos for the hotel, including this one, a banner advert, and a diary doco for the agency. I can still smell the air in the morning it was a truly special place.
OAKLEY COURT, WINDSOR
This was probably the most zany hotel film I have ever made, but we were given free rein by the marketing department at Oakley Court and we made sure we had a lot of fun! I’m not sure the cleaners will ever forgive us for the pillow fight scene with the two little kids!

the barn theatre, cirencester
The Barn Theatre was incredibly ambitious when they first opened up in 2017. A theatre in Cirencester? People guffawed and everybody said it would fail, but they stuck to their guns and have created a really inspiring business, and an even more inspiring venue for top class theatre. I was commissioned by 10A agency to create a little sense of wonder for their new website.
Kiss gyms, swindon
Kiss Gyms (Keep It Simple Stupid) belongs to Rupert Mackensie-Hill, a great mate who lives life in the very best way. I had recently bought a new camera which I wanted to try out and his gym always looked like it needed a better website, so he let me do a bit of filming and we made this little video for him.
The Artist, broadway
British artist Jeremy Houghton paints incredible journeys, favouring themes of light, space and passages of time. The subjects that characterise these scenes are illuminated by his focus on the spaces in which bodies linger, shimmer, move and often take flight. Jeremy is a personal friend, and I‘m very fond of this film we made in collaboration with his gallery, to showcase some of his incredible techniques
BARRINGTON AYRE SPORT, CIRENCESTER
Tom Wharton aka The Cotswold Visiting Tailor set up Barrington Ayre nearly 10 years ago now. He has become a household name in not only Cirencester but the corridors and green rooms of the TV luvvies across the country, and rightly so. He is a good mate and I have done numerous projects with him but this was a fun shoot at a friend’s house for his sportswear brand.
417 Project
If you drive south from Cheltenham and look up to your left on the M5 you might see some crazy bikers flying over jumps as they fly down the track that was built by 417 Project, an ambitious and spectacular downhill MTB track where you can get lifts up the hill by Land Rover.
CIRENCESTER GOLF CLUB
Cirencester Golf Club were one of the first clubs to get in on the act with video marketing. This was an enjoyable days filming with mixed weather freating a nice little overall oicture of the club for their new wesbite.
